about your self, where you live and if you are married and have children??
I was born and live in Costa Rica. I am married and I have 3 children.
What did you do for work before coming a pro poker player?
I am an Industrial Engineer and I have owned many enterprises related to
food, hotels, restaurants and TV Station.
Was there a point where you decided that you'd make a run at going pro?
I had played poker all my life until 2006 that Dan Goldman from Poker
Stars contacted me to be part of Team Pro
What poker books you have read?
In 1987 the Super System wrritten by Dole Brunson. After that, I have read
other articles and part of books with interesting info.

How many hours a week do you spend at a table now? And Online?
I do not have fixed hours, that depends of my other activities, my family
and my businesses.
And do you play online? what's your nickname online?
Yes, I play online exclusivelly in Pokerstars website. My nickname is 'Humberto
B.'
When you play poker, do you play more tournament or more cash games? More
Tournaments.
Who are your favourite or most admired player? My Dad because I learned from
him when I was 7 years old.

What's the highest price money you have ever won?
Almost $1.000.000
Did you ever played at the Amsterdam Masters? Or other tournement in the
Netherlands?
No. I have been in Amsterdam in 90's and Poker in that time was not so
famous.
Is there a particular tournament you really wanna play and win?
WSOP Main Event and EPT Grand Final and PCA Bahamas
Have you ever stood up and flipped over a poker table because you were so
furious?
No, I do get mad but I understand this is Poker.
Whats the craziest thing you have seen at the poker table?
A guy went mad and took off his pants.
What advice would you give to the people who are watching poker on TV and
playing online, hoping to go pro?
First, people must understand that Poker is not as easy as everybody
thinks, requires a lot discipline, patient and dedication. Second, the bankroll
management is very important, because your bankroll is your working tool. As all
sports, Poker is more fun when you play it as a hobby!
